Dear Readers,

We are glad to bring out the second issue of our newsletter ISA-Bangalore sections KONNECT for the year 2019-20. This newsletter lets you to know about the ISA-Bangalore section activities.

In the current issue we start with the current ISA-B president Dr. Jayesh Barve’s message. The current issues covers a detailed report from various ISA-Bangalore students sections, two articles on recent technology, two tech talks ,list of new ISA members and events conducted by ISAB.

In the articles section please check out an interesting article about “ Severity Categorization for Cyber Security Issues” which explains the method in which the severity score is calculated for vulnerabilities that would give the readers an insight into the scoring system. The second article is by young budding student from VIT on “Data Privacy” where she writes on various ways of privacy violations.

For our ISA-Bangalore newsletter - "ISA B KONNEKT", we would like to invite technical articles/ case studies related to Industrial automation, Instrumentation, process control etc., any latest technology related to automation areas.

We welcome your articles regularly . It is an opportunity to brush up your writing skills and share something you are inspired by or experienced in . Do also send your brief profile and photo with the article. We will acknowledge authors generously.

A huge thanks to all the persons who guided me and those who contributed for the contents of this newsletter , namely Mr.Jayesh Barve, Mr.RajashekarUchil,Mr Renukaprasad Belgur, Mr.C S Prakash, Mr.Ramdas and Mr.Sukumaran. Also, would like to thank Industry professional Yogesh Alawani and student Aditi T for contributing their articles. I would also like to thank all ISAB students section members for sharing their activities conducted in their respective colleges in association with ISAB.

I would also like to thank our young ISA-B student section members Nihal desai, Lalit Bajaj, Shrijith CR and Sindhuja V for their everlasting support and contribution for the successful release of this second issue.
