The faculty of GIT and students of 5th and 7th semester ECE participated in technical talk on Noise and Vibration Sensors .There were 20 participants for the workshop.
The talk was scheduled for afternoon session from 2.30PM to 5PM. Before the talk commenced , a brief introduction about International Society of Automation (ISA) was given by the Faculty Advisor of ISA GIT section Ms.Sandhya Sudi. The participants were exposed to various fields in which vibration sensors can be used. The participants also became aware of broad spectrum of fields where they can look about to work in future or continue with higher studies.
Students also saw the demonstration of noise cancellation kit and were able to experience it. This made them aware of importance of noise in electrical and electronic circuits.

Resource person for the workshop
  1. Mr. Rajshekhar Uchil, B.Tech in Electronics and Communication.
    He is Life Member- All India Management Association,
    Life Member - Acoustical Society of India,
    Senior Member - International Society of Automation.
    Also Presently Student Chair ISA Bangalore Section and Membership Chair D 14.
    He has a Professional Experience of 35 years in sales and Marketing. His Special Focus includes Noise and Vibration measurements conditioning and analysis Temperature calibrators controllers and Recorders, AC DC and Servo drives, Strategic Consultancy specifically on marketing and business development. He has also presented Papers in number of national and international conferences.
  2. Mr.Harish Nallapppa, B.Tech VTU 2004 Electronics and Communication His present designation is Area Manager Sales and Application- Sound and Vibration.
    He has total experience of 15 years.Previously he worked as Appplication Manager in Foretek Marketing Priivate Limited.

This was followed by felicitation of our guests by Dr.Santosh Saraf, HOD ECE, KLS GIT,Belagavi.
